Lydie Robsham – Owner – Pilates Instructor/ Yoga and Massage Therapist. Corrective exercise specialist CHEK L2, Personal Trainer.
Lydie Robsham was born and educated in France and holds a Masters Degree in Physical Education and Sports Physiology (Paris V University) with a specialization in Feminine Gymnastics. Lydie was a Physical Ed Teacher and Gymnastics coach for the French Ministry of Education in France and at the French International School in Washington, DC. Lydie opened Aerial Bodies Pilates practice in West Palm Beach in 1999.
Lydie is a highly experienced Massage Therapist with over 23 years of experience in Medical and Neuromuscular Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and Sports Massage. Her specialty is Corrective Exercise and Post Rehabilitation (Postural imbalances, whiplash, TMJ, neck/low back pain, disc injuries, scoliosis, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel issues, shoulder injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, cancer-related problems, post surgery scars treatment, fibromyalgia, pregnancy needs).
Lydie has worked at Alan Herdman Pilates studio in Cannes France, The American Hospital of Dubai, with Dr. Alex Keith at Advanced Wellness, Dr. Lisa Corsa, PHD PT at Premier Therapy Solutions, at many prestigious sports events (The Wellington Equestrian Festival, The 24 Hour of Daytona, numerous waterski events including the US Nationals and US Open, The Dubai Strongest Man in the World competitions, The Palm Beach Marathon, etc.)
Lydie currently holds 12 international medals in Waterskiing, and has ranked 12th in the world in Tricks skiing open women division. She was four times Gold medalist at Worlds over 35 year old in Tricks and Slalom (2000, 2014, 2016), Bronze medalist at Open European Championships (2001), US National champion (2014 and 2015), as well as holding a number of French and European water-skiing titles and medals.

Lydie’s personal experience with physical rehabilitation includes recovering from serious injuries including low back surgery, a severely broken leg from a water-skiing injury, and two serious thoracic surgeries. These experiences give Lydie special empathy for the needs, physical limitations and rehabilitation struggles of those experiencing injuries, illnesses, weight issues and other physical challenges that can be helped with physical rehab.
Maria Velez – Pilates Instructor
Maria Velez is a graduate of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin, Colombia, and holds a degree in Industrial and Fashion Design. Her education and talent for visual arts and design led her to work in graphic design for a media company, but her heart led her to Pilates, where she discovered a fulfilling experience that kept her life in balance while challenging her body. Maria’s first Pilates love is the reformer, and as she committed to her practice she chose a teacher training path to both deepen her own Pilates knowledge and to share this passion with others. Maria completed her 600 hour comprehensive Pilates teacher training with Classical Pilates Education in Boca Raton in 2017, and enjoys working with both new and experienced students, showing the many benefits of the system, as well as creative and playful ways to use the equipment.
Heather Champion- Yoga Instructor
Heather began teaching yoga in 2012 after practicing for around 10 years. Her training came midway through her work to obtain an MA in Mental Health Counseling and coincided with her studies. She obtained certifications in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Principle Based Partner Yoga, which she often uses in treatment with individuals suffering from addiction, anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances. She is well-experienced in a variety of yogic styles studying with yoga masters such as Sri Dharma Mittra, Elysabeth Williamson, Gina Lee, and Lex Giliam. Her classes are both challenging and relaxing with a practice suited for all and customized for individual needs. She is available for counseling sessions, both traditional and yoga-inspired.
